Business Fair provides opportunities for young entrepreneurs in Osh

The Business Fair hosted by the Aga Khan School, Osh in the Kyrgyz Republic, offers the opportunity for a range of its young entrepreneurs, aged 11-16 years, to showcase and sell their hand-made products within the school and to invited parents.

A team of students organises booths selling cakes and crafts and makes sure the Fair is widely promoted through banners and posters. While the young entrepreneurs relish the potential for financial reward that the Fair provides, the event also builds awareness of free-market principles, pricing and selling methods, and the practicalities of running a small business. To help continue their skills and knowledge growth, Aga Khan School, Osh organizes events and discussions to instruct and provide overall support to students on their entrepreneurial journeys.
